How  Sayage Digital Signage Works

The Sayage solution leverages mature, well-tested technologies that have been used in business environments around the world for more than 15 years.

The Hardware

The digital signs are controlled through an Android-based device that plugs into the HDMI port on the display.  Some displays, such as the Panasonic AF1 series, embed the Android system into the feature set of the display.  The Android-based software, whether embedded or separate, connects to the Internet through your local wired network or wireless network or through a cellular communications link.

Each display device is registered in your Sayage environment, which is hosted securely on Amazon Web Services (AWS).  The HDMI devices contain 2GB of RAM and 16GB of flash storage, allowing the system to download and buffer content, so your signage continues to work, even if connectivity to the Internet is temporarily unavailable.

Streaming Media to Your Sayage Device

The elegant and sophisticated user interface gives access to the features of Sayage, allowing your staff to upload digital content — video, audio, graphics, text — from any device with an Internet connection.  Your staff can create “channels” of content for each display and schedule dates and times for viewing content on any combination of the displays registered in the Sayage environment.
